CHOOSING THE RIGHT GAMING MOTHERBOARD!

Building a right and true gaming pc is not everyone's cup of tea especially if one is completely a newbie in computers. Apart from it choosing a right gaming motherboard is also a very important keen task. One should be very selective and careful in choosing it. It should be kept in mind that what are requirements of playing. whether a gamer wants to play a particular game at max settings. or at a medium level. On this basis the motherboard should be choosen. it should also be kept in mind that motherboards selected should be enough for those gaming requirements of 3-4 years. no. of ram slots. and expansion capability of the motherboard and devices it support should also be kept in mind.

The first thing needed is to choose whether u want to go with

AMD motherboards or
INTEL motherboards

intel motherboards have high reliability and they are lil more last longing and on the other hand amd motherboards are a better chioce for gaming and most gamers stick with amd only. amd also gives intel like performance but at  a lower price. but quality of amd motherboards are lil low than intel motherboards. but that not completely true as it goes with motherboards and type. some amd motherboards last long than intel high end mobos. so u can predict it either.

If you think of the processor as the brain of a computer, then the motherboard could be described as the central nervous system, responsible for relaying information between all the internal components.
In other words, it’s the hub of the computer, where all other components connect to. Since the motherboard is so crucial to your system, buying the best motherboard you can afford is a good investment.

STEP 1.

Select Your CPU First

Before choosing your motherboard, you should have already chosen your CPU. If you haven’t already done so, see the best cpu guide.A motherboard will generally only support one type of processor, such as a Pentium 4 or Athlon 64. Different CPUs have connectors that vary physically from one another. So you can’t accidentally plug in the wrong processor into the wrong motherboard.
Also, take note that many motherboards will only support up to a certain speed of a certain processor model. In this case, the maximum processor speed allowed would be quoted in the motherboard specifications. So, when buying the best motherboard for you, be sure to check whether it will support the speed of your CPU.

STEP 2

Check the CPU Socket Type

To be sure that your processor is compatible with a particular motherboard, you need to check the socket type. The socket type is basically the processor interface for your CPU.For example, if you have a Pentium 4 processor the socket type will usually be either Socket 423 or Socket 478. So you would check the motherboard to see whether it supports this type of socket.

STEP 3.
What Memory and Drive Format?

The motherboard you choose will dictate the type and amount of RAM you can have. You will want to get either DDR SDRAM or RDRAM, and at least 1 Gig worth, for good gaming performance. So ensure your motherboard will support this type and amount of memory. Find the best computer memory with this memory buying guide.Motherboards also have different types of connections for your hard drive. Common drive formats are ATA and SATA. For more information on selecting the right hard drive for you, see the best hard drive

STEP 4.

PCI Slots and USB Ports

The PCI slots on a motherboard are there to accommodate add-on cards such as a sound card, Ethernet card, or modem. Make sure you have enough PCI slots for your needs. You should also consider the number of USB ports you need, and whether you need a Firewire port (used for video capturing and editing).

STEP 5.

AGP or PCI Express Graphics Card?

When choosing the best motherboard for your needs, you need to think ahead and decide on what type of Graphics Card you will be using. Reason being, there are two different ways to connect a Graphics Card to a motherboard, through an AGP slot or a PCI Express slot.AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) has been the standard for a long time, but now the new PCI Express technology is slowly taking over the scene, as it is much faster than AGP. See the gaming video card guide for more detailed information on this.

STEP 6.

Built-in Video, Sound, or Networking

Some motherboards come with built-in video, sound, or networking capabilities. This can save you time and money because you won’t have to buy the separate cards for these functions. If you want decent quality graphics you will definitely need to avoid on-board video and get a separate graphics card. On-board video simply doesn’t cut it for the good 3D games. On the other hand, getting on-board sound is a much more appealing option. You can get decent quality sound with it, and most people won’t notice the difference between on-board sound and a separate sound card for basic audio functions such as listening to music and playing games. But, if you’re into producing music or you want the very best sound quality from your games, you will want to invest in a separate sound card. See the best sound card guide for more information.

Plan to Upgrade

Choosing the best motherboard for your needs should also include you looking to the future. Will you want to upgrade in the near future? Make sure your motherboard will allow you to upgrade, whether it be more RAM, or a new graphics card. If you plan to upgrade your processor, be sure your motherboard will support a faster processor.

Conclusion

The motherboard is such a crucial component to your gaming computer. You should consider all the features that are important to you, and buy the best motherboard you can afford. Some well-known and trusted motherboard manufacturers are ASUS, ABIT, MSI, XFX, EVGA, Intel, and Gigabyte amongst others. You can start byicon from these trusted names, and continue on your way to choosing that perfect gaming motherboard. Happy Shopping! :D

What is a 4G Technology

There was a time when surfing internet through mobile was really rare and was pretty slow. later came gprs [general radio for radio services]and 2g services which used gsm sims  . Although these were better than previous technology but still speed was not very fast. And then with introduction 3g technology everything changed and it revolutionalised and changed the world of mobile technology. now one can easily chat surf and download any file within minutes . And now the technology is taking one more huge step and moving towards the 4g technology. the 4g technology is the most advanced and fastest cellular and wireless internet providing technology. Although it has not yet been used by each country. but still countries like america, britain, france and many other countires have already moved to 4g. so lets see what basically a 4g technology is.

4G is a 4th generation mobile internet technology. A huge improvement over 3g technology. It is anext generation technology which will wipe its predecessor 3G out of the surface of the world. This 4g technology has promised to offer widespread, complete and invulnerable all-IP (Internet Protocol) based services example of such services are high quality multimedia streaming, enhanced gaming services, super fast broadband Internet access, IP telephony and etc. All these and many more facilities will soon be available to people all around the world by this groundbreaking technology. The reason behind the development of 4g technology is to provide accommodation for the required Qos and rate that was set as requirements by the advanced growth of current 3G applications such as, mobile TV, wireless broadband service, video chat, MMS that stands for Multimedia Messaging Service and also the famous HDTV contents. The fourth generation technology may also provide wireless LAN roaming and may also intermingle with systems that are used for digital video broadcasting.

4G which is also be referred as “International Mobile Telecommunications Advanced” in short IMT Advanced promises to have a targeted maximum data speed up to around 100 mega bytes per second for outdoor users like instant access to Internet by mobiles or smartphones and for indoor users like the LAN (Local Area Network) users the data speed would be around 1 Giga bytes per second, for both the mobile or fixed stationed Internet users this type of higher speed, which has never before, is truly awesome and mind-blowing. Also up to 40 mega hertz of scalable bandwidth must be provided, according to ITU requirements. The frequency-domain equalization policy has removed the CDMA spectrum radio technology that was being used by the IS-95 and 3G stations.

Here are the main objectives that 4g technology will offer when after it is fully developed.
100mbps would be the normal data rate for the users who are not stationary and moving at high speeds and 1gbps would be the maximum data rate when the user is indoor or at a fixed position.
Bandwidth flexibility, between 5 to 20 mega hertz maximum up to 40 mega hertz
Worldwide roaming over multiple networks and flawless connectivity
Spectral efficiency downlink up to 3 bit/s/Hz/cell and for fixed or indoor usage 2.25 bit/s/Hz/cell
All-IP based network means packet switched network

Nikon p300 -12mp digital camera

The world leader in he field of cameras and optics Nikon has introduced its new compact digital camera Nikon p300. lets get look at it.
Integrating seamlessly into Nikon's upper echelon of digital compact cameras, the new Coolpix P300 boasts some serious assets that advanced photography enthusiasts are likely to covet.
For starters, the Nikon P300 claims a 12.2-megapixel, back-illuminated CMOS image sensor supported by the brand's EXPEED C2 processor, together making quite an attractive combination for those interested in pursuing captures at higher sensitivities.
Increasing intrigue is the addition of the impressively fast f/1.8, 24mm wideangle, 4.2x optical zoom lens with Nikon's High Refractive lndex glass.
The £300 compact sits just beneath its launch stable mate the Coolpix P500; an advanced bridge that replaces the once popular P100, and is likely to be squarely aimed at photographers' thirsting for more manual control as well as a higher quality of image capture.
As a high-entry compact we are not surprised but still pleased to note the inclusion of full manual controls offering four exposure modes: Programmed Auto (P), Shutter-priority (S), Aperture-priority (A) and Manual (M). But we are disappointed to find no ability to capture images in raw format, as arguably many of its target consumers would require.
Following the trend for HD movie capture, the Nikon P300 provides access to Full HD – 1080p – movie recording with stereo sound, and unlike some of its rivals the new Nikon compact camera benefits from optical zoom and autofocus during recording, allows photographers to fire stills whilst filming and records footage in slow or fast motion using recording speeds of up to 120fps (VGA).
Digging further into the feature bowels of the Nikon P300 we discover that there are several advanced multi-exposure composite image functions for taking handheld portraits at night, an Easy Panorama mode that delivers 180- and 360-degree results, optimised Night Portrait and Landscape modes, Backlighting (HDR), plus a modest palette of Filter effects.
Elsewhere a high-speed continuous shooting function has been incorporated to satisfy action and sports fanatics, allowing users to claim up to 7 continuous shots at 8 frames per second.

the price of nikon p300 is approx 283$ or 12735 inr.

APPLE IPHONE 4

Apple iphone 4 review
The iphone is apple's  one of the most succesfull and most popular products in market till date. It has already set a new benchmarks in world of cellphone. Although apple has always launched a new variant and model of this cellphone and now this time apple has launched the most latest and newest iphone model. the all new apple iphone 4 . lets see what its got.

Apple's launch of the iPhone 4 has seen the greatest excitement for a new phone ever - and with HD video recording, a super high-res screen and ridiculously slim dimensions, it's not hard to see why.Gone is the traditional curved back and plastic exterior with slightly chunky dimensions; in is a chassis that's only 9.3mm thin at its thickest point and a new stainless steel and glass industrial design. The edges are stainless steel, apparently forged by winged unicorns in an iceberg (or something) to be 10 times stronger than 'normal' steel. The front and back of the phone are made of glass, which has also been treated to be a lot stronger than the normal variety we're used to seeing through and drinking out of.The chassis shape isn't the only different thing with the iPhone 4 - the whole ethos has been tweaked. For instance, no longer is there a slightly plasticky rocker switch to control volume on the left-hand side, as it's now two discrete metal buttons with '+' and '-' written on.The volume silencer rocker switch is above too, but that has also undergone the uber-metallic treatment.

There's also a separate microphone for noise cancelling next to this as well - we imagine a few people will be pushing paperclips in there before they realise that it's not for the SIM card slot.
The right-hand side of the chassis is still blank - no camera button sadly, which would have been nice given the extra effort Apple has clearly put into overhauling the photography system.
The top of the phone still holds the headphone jack, and the power/lock key. However, the 3.5mm port is now flush to the chassis, and the power button feels much nicer to hit than before.

Still, sleek is clearly still 'in' at the Cupertino HQ, and we can't say we blame the designers when you look at the lines.
Actually, that's not true - the micro-SIM slot is hidden away here, rather than on the top. It's the same pokey key thing/slot system as before, but this time the SIM card is much smaller - Apple says to make more room for stuff inside, we say it's just to shake things up a little bit. Either way, we bet micro-SIMs become the norm before very long in all phones.
