
4G is a 4th generation mobile internet technology. A huge improvement over 3g technology. It is anext generation technology which will wipe its predecessor 3G out of the surface of the world. 4G which is also be referred as “International Mobile Telecommunications Advanced” in short IMT Advanced promises to have a targeted maximum data speed up to around 100 mega bytes per second for outdoor users like instant access to Internet by mobiles or smartphones and for indoor users like the LAN (Local Area Network) users the data speed would be around 1 Giga bytes per second, for both the mobile or fixed stationed Internet users this type of higher speed, which has never before, is truly awesome and mind-blowing. Also up to 40 mega hertz of scalable bandwidth must be provided, according to ITU requirements. The frequency-domain equalization policy has removed the CDMA spectrum radio technology that was being used by the IS-95 and 3G stations.
